Loving and serving those in need
What does loving and serving look like? We bring volunteers from across the country to a location affected by disaster and assist homeowners in rebuilding and repairing their damaged homes. Our ministry began by only responding to natural disasters, like hurricanes or blizzards. Today, we respond to human disasters as well, such as building safe houses for human trafficking survivors.
We are proud to call Buffalo home to our Northeastern satellite location. Since we came in 2018, we have hosted EDOH Buffalo in the University District, the Masten District, the Fillmore District, the Lovejoy District, and the Ellicott District helping over 1,500 families with free home repairs and yard work. This year from July 19-26, EDOH - Buffalo 2025 will help out 100 families in the Niagara District with free home repairs!
Buffalo, it is an honor to love and serve you!
Nationwide, Eight Days of Hope has brought over 60,000 volunteers to serve on roughly 90 disaster response trips, 15 safe house builds, and many community outreaches, like EDOH Buffalo. Today, we have loved and served over 11,000 families, providing $92.1 million of work. And we are just getting started!
Eight Days of Hope is a Christian, nonprofit organization that exists to love and serve those in need.
